Roberto Rizzo
Writer-Actor- Director–Producer Roberto Rizzo founded Vesuviano Pictures, as a vehicle to produce and promote a unique brand of film and television projects. This initiative is the latest phase in the evolution of his creative life.
Roberto Rizzo, a US citizen of Italian heritage, lives in New York City where he cultivates his creative energies.
His accomplishments include:
* Writing more than twelve scripts that will be developed as film and television projects.
* Acting and appearing in numerous films, TV shows and commercials.
* Creating and directing films including a pilot for television called Connecticut Cooking & Conversation; “Fascination” a love story. His latest film “Couples” which presents an ensemble cast in a comedy dealing with the diverse lives and lifestyles of New York City couples.
Roberto is currently working on a feature film tittle: Trust Me base on his original idea an concept and script by Roberto Rizzo.
Director’s statement:
When I write, I like to create characters that help me tell an engaging story. It is essential to give the audience the story elements and characters they can relate to. I like to leave viewers with something to think about after the movie is over.
I like to present characters that overcome life’s difficulties and oppose adversity in a humorous but healthy manner. One can triumph over personal adversity if you maintain sense of humor, a positive attitude and remain deeply committed to your dream.
